
Lungs Matter Grant Program |
Do you need help with radon mitigation? If you are a Manitoba resident, have been diagnosed with lung cancer, or are in a low to moderate-income household*, the Manitoba Lung Association might be able to help.
The Lungs Matter Grant Program assists with a payment of up to $1,500 towards the cost of radon mitigation when completed by a radon mitigation professional.
All eligible applications will be assessed monthly by a grant committee based on need and available funding.
What You Need for Your Application:
- Test results from a long-term 90 day C-NRPP (CANADIAN – NATIONAL RADON PROFICIENCY PROGRAM) approved radon test kit. Homeowner-level digital monitors do not qualify.
- You can purchase a C-NRPP approved long-term test kit from the Manitoba Lung Association here.
